The Rockford Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rock Valley College celebrates the exceptional growth and success of its client, 815 Junk Removal, since starting operations just four months ago. Thanks to the diligent guidance and support of SBDC consultant Nate Jordan, 815 Junk Removal has flourished, providing a valuable service to the local community while contributing to the economy.

Founder John Cantu shared his experience working with the SBDC:

"We have invested in a newer, nicer truck, have opened a line of credit, bought a second brand-new trailer, and have been able to afford a ton of advertising! Without Nate Jordan and SBDC, we may have never even started this journey." In this short span, 815 Junk Removal has already grown to employ one full-time and two part-time employees, servicing banks, realtors, churches, and non-profit organizations in the area.

Among their recent achievements, 815 Junk Removal formed a strong partnership with a local church, donating reusable furniture and clothing to their non-profit, 'A Mothers Love'. This collaboration benefits not only the community but also the company, as it reduces their dump fees and trailer loads.

Moreover, when disaster struck in the form of a tornado last month, 815 Junk Removal stepped up to provide free brush removal services to Belvedere residents. Cantu remarked, "We honestly didn't realize how volunteering could be such a good way to promote our business!" The company is proud to support their community while simultaneously promoting their brand.

Cantu expressed his gratitude for Nate Jordan's role in the company's success: "He was very informative, very kind, and made getting our LLC super simple!
